We may all do bipolar disorder

We may all do bipolar disorder at some point, or more specifically the condition may do us all at some point. And it does not matter that you are male or female, bipolar disorder affects men and women equally. The thing about the syndrome is that the higher your socioeconomic class, the worse your chances of being free of it. So knowing you want to get rich, you also want to remember this little detail. Bipolar disorder, like its name, has two sides to it, the depressive and the manic. When depressed, youd be down on yourself so much you cant believe it, and when manic youd feel intensely and inappropriately happy. The mania is actually kind of funny. You get all self-important and irritable, so much youd have trouble even sleeping. Genuinely, there isn’t any one of the two sides that are pleasant because they can cause you to take some of the strangest actions. You could trace the history of bipolar disorder as far back as the time of Aretaeus of the second century. The ancient city of Turkey called Cappadocia was home to the age-old scientist and physician, who determined some of the symptoms of mania and depression that we see today in the syndrome. Unfortunately, even though he thought they were related, no one could understand it with him. Too bad, that. Today, work that would have been done all this while is only just being done today; but I still firmly believe that a cure is imminent. The term “folie circulaire” refers to circular insanity, which in essence is bipolar disorder, determined at a certain time in history by finding the difference between the depression moments and heightened moods of an individual. Jules Falret in the 19th century learnt that depression and suicide are linked and led to the term Bipolar Disorder.
